“For you are all Sons and Daughters of God through Faith in Christ Jesus.” Galatians 3:26

As we begin day 36 of the Russian-Ukraine war, our heart aches for the millions who have been pushed out of their homes in Ukraine, and for the thousands killed and wounded there. Both Ukrainians and Russians. Media reports the Russians are changing tactics and will attack in a different way. What they will accomplish we do not know. There is a claim that many of the Russians are demoralized and refusing to carry out orders. It’s said that some are sabotaging their equipment and even ‘accidentally’ shooting down some of their own aircraft. Of course we do not know if this is correct, but it is so sad for all.

It is remarkable that one man is able to do this, but he has. That is why learning to yield the power of choice within each of us is crucial to all of mankind and our development. We are AFFECTING one another. In Romans 5:17, we see what one evil man can do, and how death can reign through that one man, but we also see what our Lord Jesus can do that is above it all. “For if by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God’s abundant provision of Grace and of the gift of Righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ.”
Then we’re told “You are all sons and daughters of God through faith in Christ Jesus, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. You belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed and heirs according to the Promise.” Galatians 3:26-29
It all means our power is descended from the man who embodied grace and righteousness in His lifetime and that is what we use to combat the man ushering in such atrocious evil.
We must continue to pray for Ukraine. Christ has not left them to be on their own. He is there, and he is with them wherever they may have to go. “We are all one in Christ Jesus.” Ukraine is part of us. Of the whole of the world. We do not know why this is happening to them. For now we have to trust that there is purpose, just as The Word says there was purpose for His Chosen People when they had to wander the desert for 40 years before finally walking into the Promised Land. That purpose was that we were all supposed to watch and learn from their journey. I suspect something similar is happening right here right now. Let us help our Ukrainian family as they continue to endure this trauma by praying and believing that in some way our Lord will touch all of those who are being pushed from their homes and lives. Let us pray diligently for them all as we wait to see how and what our Lord will do. We know that He will.
I keep talking about this situation but, from a global perspective, I can’t think of anything that matters more at this time.
Blessings and Love upon each of you and yours.
