“Let the people know who need to know.” Isaiah 9:6-7

Isaiah was a great Prophet that God raised up, and spoke great prophecy through.  God told him to let the people know what He had planned for them.  He said unto the Children of God:

“For to us a Child is born, to us a Son is given, and the Government will be on His shoulders, and He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, everlasting Father, Prince of peace.
Of the greatness of His government and peace there will be no end.  He will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever.  The zeal of the Lord Almighty will accomplish this .”  (Isaiah 9: 6-7)
We are in the season of celebration for the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ .  As in every celebration, it is wonderful, and uplifting, and fun for all who will participate.
And well it should be.  Celebrations mean something good has happened.  So it has.
Hundreds of years after this Word was given, God sent His One and Only Begotten Son to us as a Baby; born in the flesh of man, born as the Son of God.  He came to personally  bring the Love of our Father God to us,  and to begin the fulfillment of this magnificent promise.  He is who He is, and is fulfilling the promise in two parts.
He is the Son of God – Son of Man. Though it is difficult to see many times, the Government is on His shoulders, and we must trust Him as we pray for those in Government.   He is our Wonderful Counselor, and all wisdom for all things is in Him.  He is where we go to – He is who we look to and pray to for wisdom.  He is Mighty God – He is God Himself.  The everlasting Father and He are One.  He is the Prince of Peace.  Only in Him, and through Him can we have the Peace that passes all understanding.
We celebrate the fact that He was born to us.  His name is above every name.  His name is Jesus.  Father told Mary to name Him Jesus, which means the LORD saves.
He Saves as we look to Him.  He is all of the things the prophecy says He will be.  Let us celebrate all that He is, and know without a shadow of a doubt that He came as the Messiah, and that He will come back at the appointed time to physically take the throne of David.
MERRY CHRISTMAS, GOD’S BELOVEDS.  YOU ARE GREATLY LOVED!!
