“The Spirit God gave us.” 2 Timothy 1:7

When the Lord Jesus was with us on earth, His Disciples walked with Him.  They knew where He came from bodily.  They broke bread with Him.  They saw Him perform miracles.  They heard Him preach and teach the Good News that the kingdom was within, and without.  They saw Him die on the cross.  They saw Him return to life. They ate with Him as He received food into a body that could walk through a wall, and be gone in in a blink of the eye.  They were with Him for over 40 days in His resurrected body before He ascended back to Heaven.  They saw Him literally taken up to Heaven as He promised them a Spirit of power from on high to be with them forever.  They saw Him.  He walked in Israel, a very small spot on this earth, as these things happened with eye witness account. Eye witnesses – many many of them.

However, since we cannot visibly see the One who was sent to be in all people in all places in all on the earth, and in all of the heavens, the One who now resides within all who will believe in Jesus as Savior, some people have a difficult time believing that He is.  From those of us who have experienced an encounter with Him, we can assure everyone that He IS.
The Word tells us:  He is THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD JESUS.  He is THE SPIRIT OF WISDOM. He is THE SPIRIT OF UNDERSTANDING.  He is THE SPIRIT OF GOOD COUNSEL.  He is THE SPIRIT OF POWER. He is THE SPIRIT OF KNOWLEDGE. He is THE SPIRIT OF REVERENTIAL TRUST.
The Word says:  “For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love, a sound mind, and self discipline.”  2 Timothy 1:7
Father God gave us His Spirit, the Holy Spirit, third person in the God Head, just as He gave us Jesus, the Messiah, who brought salvation.   May we rejoice in that fact, and look to the power that is ours within to live the abundant life that Jesus came to give us, that Father wants us to have.
Be blessed in all that He is. Realize all that He is. Use all that He is. That is why He is here. Father gave us His Spirit to bring power into our lives. Just as He gave His only begotten Son to mankind and allowed Him to shed His blood for all. For those of us who will believe and receive His love, and what He has done for each of us, these things are ours to enjoy and to live in victory in the now, and for all time.
May you prosper in all things, and be in perfect health in all ways, God’s Beloveds.  May you know, experience and live abundantly in the Holy Spirit God gave us.  You are greatly loved.
