“Give, and it will be given to you.” Luke 6:38

Hello Beloveds of God.?

Jesus taught us about life, and about living it abundantly – to the Full. (John 10:10)  One of the things He taught was to be open with what we have been given in life. To be blessed by what we are given, and be a blessing to others as we share that blessing.  We must always remember that we do not earn anything to keep, and to bless others wherever we can, with what we are given, brings a joy beyond description into our lives.
Jesus said, “Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”  (Luke 6:38)
The Lord is teaching us that as we give something to others, and to situations, and issues with the right motivation – and that motivation is the Love we have received from our God of Love – that whatever we give will come back to us. Not only will it come back, but it will come back “running over” into our laps, into our lives. That which we give may be something material, or spiritual. Something of the flesh, something of the Spirit. The Lord did not say what to give to,  He simply said, “Give, and it will be given to you.”
It is clear our God of Love is a Giver. The Word says in (John 3:16) “For God so loved the world that He Gave His only begotten Son that whosoever shall believe in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” He gave us His greatest treasure to believe in, to invite into our lives, and live life abundantly in. He wants for us the greatest of all things. He wants for us to live in the greatest of all Love: the Love of Jesus Christ, of our Abba Father, and the Amazing Holy Spirit. He wants for us to Give Him all that we are in return; a fair trade. He said, “Give, and it will be given to you.”  He is a Giver. He wants us to be as He is.
As we give, lives are touched, beginning with ours. Our Lord does not tell us what to give, or how much to give. He has simply asked us to give, and gave us a promise of what He would do and give as we give.  A wonderful promise of Love from our God of Love. ? Let us live abundantly each day in that Love ?, as we share it joyfully.
