God’s Power, Love and Wisdom continually Revealed by the Holy Spirit. 1 Corinthians 2

Hello God’s Beloveds, ?

The Holy Spirit is with us continually. He comes INTO us when we accept Christ Jesus as Lord and Savior. The Word says “He will be in us, and with us, forever.” We are ONE with Spirit, our Abba Father, and Jesus.
I love the messages the Apostle Paul and so many others have given us about Spirit. In Chapter 2 in the Book of 1 Corinthians, the Apostle wrote: “My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power, so that your faith might not rest on human wisdom, but on God’s power.” He means that his gift of speech came not from him as a man but as a result of the life changing words Spirit inspired him to say to the ancient Corinthians.
The Holy Spirit, like Jesus, was given a mission for our world. It is literally the bringer of God’s Power and Love and Wisdom, given to each of us who acknowledge Christ Jesus as Lord. He is the means by which we come to understand the nature of our God of Love and our own purpose and contributions that Spirit gives us to offer humanity.
The Apostle Paul goes on to say, “However, as it is written: What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived – the things God has prepared for those who love Him – these are the things God has revealed to us BY His Holy Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spirit within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us. This is what we speak, not in words taught us by the human wisdom, but in words taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual realities with Spirit taught words. The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit.” (1 Corinthians 2: 9-14)
When we invite Christ into our lives, we become a “new creation.” We are given “the mind of Christ” by Spirit. We no longer think as we did, or do as we did without the Jesus, Abba Spirit trilogy within us. We are certainly not perfect, but they are, and we are, mercifully, given the opportunity to grow into perfection… them in us is exactly what helps us grow. We are human and will say and do things “of the flesh,” but if it is not what it should be, our Lord of Love will bring it up to us to correct at some time. And He will give us the ability to do so. That is exactly the “impressions” we feel within ourselves at times. That is Spirit communicating.
The Lord has told us, as we see in the Gospel of John, “But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you ALL things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. Peace I leave with you, my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” (John 14:26-27) The Lord told us, “I have much more to say to you, more than you can now bear. But when He, the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on His own, He will speak only what He hears, and He will tell you what is yet to come. He will glorify Me because it is from Me that He will receive what He will make known to you.” (John 16: 12-14).
Spirit glorifies Jesus by showing us how to live by continually pointing back to Jesus again and again. This is necessary because God embodied his precious Son to show us exactly what love is. Spirit’s job is to keep us forever aware of that knowledge and teach us how to participate in it.
The Trinity loves us So. They will never leave us. Spirit is constantly teaching. Let Him lead. Let us listen. Let us grow in the knowledge He provides.
Be blessed in all things and in all ways. ?
