Good Friday

Hello Brothers and Sisters in the Lord.?

Today is Good Friday.  It is the Friday we celebrate the great Love our Lord Jesus showed unto us as He allowed Himself to be put on a Cross for us and die for us.
He sacrificed Himself, He took our place on that Cross that Friday allowing our Father God of Love, to place all of our sins and shortcomings upon Him.  He died on that cross and took all of our sins, past present and future to hades where Satan thought victory was his.
Sometimes things look like we are done.  When the Disciples of Jesus saw Him die, they thought everything He had said was over.  They saw Him perform mighty miracles as He fed thousands of people from five small loaves and fishes, as He raised people from the dead, as He stopped storms with words of command, and so many more, yet He was now dead and all that He said and did was now gone they thought.
Here is Truth. We can ALWAYS Trust our Almighty God of Love to Always be thinking, and doing, what is for Our Good. It may not seem to be going that way; even Jesus, when He was on the Cross dying for us, when He became all man and had taken all of our sins upon Himself said unto the Holy Father, “My God, my God why have You forsaken me?”, (Matthew 27:46), but we know this was just to show the fear He felt at the moment as a normal man without God, and to show clearly that what He was doing was complete.  The Word tells us that all of His fear was removed as the sins of man were burned away from Him, and He went to work where He was in death.  He took back the keys of the kingdom that had been stolen from Adam and Eve, He set the captives free, He put Grace to work.  As Ephesians says, “But to each one of us grace has been given as Christ apportioned it.  This is why it says, “When He ascended on high, He took many captives and gave gifts to His people.”  (What does “He ascended mean except that He also descended to the lower earthly regions?  He who descended is the very one who ascended higher than all the heavens in order to fill the whole universe.) Ephesians 4:7-10
We know that as they thought Jesus was dead and in the grave, and He was, they did not know He would be working for us while there. As the Almighty went to Him, and gave Him life, He turned hell upside down, took back the keys of the kingdom, set captives free, and went back to Heaven before coming back to earth to turn His dead body into a new and beautiful being.  Things looked bad for us on the surface on that Friday, but as the plan evolved on the following Sunday, as Jesus was transformed in body, and position, and displayed Himself to us, and brought all that He brought to ALL of us who believe, I know you will agree it actually was a very Good Friday, as every day is a very Good Day as we live it in our Lord of Love.
Happy Easter, Sweet Family.  Let us live it in the Truth of what it is.  Let us celebrate the Resurrection of our Savior, and rejoice in His Love, and what He has done, and does for us.
In His Love,?
