“Your Word is a Lamp to my Feet, and Light for my Path.” Psalm 119:105

Hello Loves,?

The Word of God is God Himself. He said in John 1:14, “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.” The Word is Flesh. We are flesh. So it is applicable to us. Every lesson and prophecy within it, fulfilled by the sacrifice of His Flesh for us.

And we are the flesh that brings it to mankind. Why should we? The answers to everything are there. It was a beloved gift bestowed on us by our Father. Not for use as a means to control us as we’re so often taught but a guide to help us through this journey of life. Think about it. A loving parent shows their children the way. And that is what God did for us when He first demonstrated life as a man, then inspired the creation of his Divine Book to show The Way home if we choose to go that way. It addresses every issue we face.

Psalm 119:9 -16 says, “How can a person cleanse their way? By taking heed according to your Word, Oh Lord. With my whole heart I have sought You; Oh, let me not wander from your commandments! Your Word I have hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against You. Blessed are You, O Lord!  Teach me Your statutes. I have rejoiced in the way of Your testimonies, as much as in all riches. I will meditate on Your precepts, and contemplate Your ways. I will delight myself in your statutes; I will not forget Your Word.”
Psalm 119:105 goes on to say, “Your Word, Oh Lord, is a Lamp to my feet and a Light to my path.”
The Word is a Lamp. It brings Light for us to clearly see and walk in. May we receive it for the treasure that it is, carry it in our hearts, and let it show us the lighted Way always.
Proverbs 3:1- 4, says, “My Child, do not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart; for they will prolong your life many years and bring you prosperity. Let Love and Faithfulness never leave you; Bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will win Favor and a Good Name in the sight of God and Man.”
The Word became Flesh through Jesus and God’s Holy Spirit speaks through it. We do not see Him now but we feel Him because His Spirit Is always in us, and Is always with us. We may not hear Him, as we do other things, but we can hear Him within The Word He left for us. He guides our way as we listen to Him through it. Let us be ever aware that He ‘Lights’ our way. Let us listen to Him in All things, and in All ways through the tool He has provided. He loves us So, and wants only the Best for us.? Let us receive everything He has for us.
