“He is the Messiah, the Lord.” Luke 2:11

The Messiah, Christ Jesus, came into this world so differently from what was expected, and departed this world so differently from what was expected, it is difficult for some to believe that He accomplished what He came to do, or that Jesus IS the Christ, that He IS the Messiah, The Lord.

The Scripture, the Word, is the beautiful truth that shows us that He indeed is the Messiah, our Lord and our Savior, and did accomplish what He came to do. As we receive its truth into our being, we See that He is indeed The promised One who sets mankind free from sin and death as they receive Him in Spirit, and in Truth. Even though the Gospel is for the most part rejected by the very people it is all about, it is Truth. The Word explains to us in Romans 11:25-29, why this is. It says, “Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of the Gentiles has come in, and in this way all Israel will be saved. As it is written: ‘The Deliverer will come from Zion; He will turn godlessness away from Jacob. And this is My covenant with them when I take away their sins.’ As far as the gospel is concerned, they are enemies for your sake; but as far as election is concerned, they are loved on account of the patriarchs, for God’s gifts and His call are irrevocable.”

Jesus came into this world as Son of God, and a Son of Man. The only Begotten. He said, “I am the gate; whoever enters through Me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it abundantly.” John 10:9,10.

This is the season we celebrate His birth into this world. We call it Christmas. What a beautiful time. How wonderful and full of love for so many it is. Let us celebrate it every day as we remember that our Lord came as a baby just as we did. Born as a Son of flesh and blood, He is of man, and is man. He called Himself, Son of Man. Born from a virgin Mother, He called God His Father. Son of God. He is Son of Man. He is Son of God. He is King of Kings, and Lord of Lords. He is the Messiah, the Lord. He is God. All authority has been given unto Him by the Father. Let us rejoice in that truth each day, and live life Abundantly in Him.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! Have a wonderful Christmas Day. Celebrate the reason for Christmas each day as we continue our journey. Love to you, and yours, God’s Beloveds.
