“HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY”. God has clothed her with strength and dignity. Proverbs 31:25

As we celebrate a very special day, “Mother’s Day”, not every woman is a Mother because she has borne a child, but every woman is a Mother in spirit because that is what she is.
The Word says, “Adam named his wife Eve, because she would become the Mother of all the living.”  (Genesis 3:20)  This has been passed on, and to “Mother the living” is in the DNA of every female.
There are documented instances of women doing supernatural things such as lifting a car off a child because that was her baby, and she had to protect it.  The instinct to Mother, – protect and provide, – is so powerful that strength is provided from within to make that happen.  And it is not just the human race, it is apparently in all females.  I saw a story recently of a Mother Elephant whose Baby had fallen into a mud sink hole, and could not get out.  The Mother Elephant began to ‘dig’ a hole to get her baby out.  She did this with her trunk, and she did it for 11 hours straight.  The good news is she got a little help from the folks in the village, got the baby out, and they went on trunk in trunk.  The point is, she would not abandon her child simply because ‘within her’ was the total desire to protect this child any way she could.  God has made it so.
Today, we honor you, beautiful creations of God who brings forth life, bodily and/or spiritually.   If you have given birth to a child, or adopted a child, or are fostering a child, HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY.   The Word says,”Honor your Father and Mother, so that you may live long in the land your God is giving you. (“Exodus 20:12)  God honors our honoring, by giving us a promise of His to go with It.
My Mother has passed on, but I pray that if your Mom is still in this life that you will honor her with a statement of some kind (visit, phone call, text, email) that says, “Thank you, Mom.  I love you.”  Even if she can no longer protect you, or provide for you, you know she would if she could.   Make it a very special day for her.  Make her your number one priority today.  You would not be here if she had not given birth to you, so honor her as the Lord does.
The Word says, “He has clothed her with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come.  He has given her wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue.  Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her.  Give her the reward she has earned.”   (Proverbs 31:25-31)
May each of you be blessed, and have a wonderful day in every way, God’s Beloveds.   You are dearly Loved.?
