“Be strong in the Lord, and in His mighty power.” Ephesians 6:10

Most everyone has seen the Super Hero characters that come forth when this Guy, or Gal, puts on a ‘super power suit’, and they are able to do incredible things.  They fight evil, and always prevail.

We have the ‘power suits’ of ‘power suits’ available to us.
In, and from the Holy Spirit, the Apostle Paul wrote: “Be strong in the Lord, and in His mighty power.  Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.  For our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” Ephesians 6: 10-12
When we accept Christ Jesus as Savior, and Redeemer, Father has decreed, that we be brought into the kingdom of God in the Holy Spirit.  We have power available to us that is not available to the natural man.
Paul was brought to the ‘third heaven’, and taught by the Lord Himself truths that he was to share.  Here is one of those truths: “The devil is real, and he is a schemer.”  He is an evil force that has brought darkness upon the earth, and schemes ways to destroy all of God’s children.  He hates us.  He seeks whom he may devour. (1 Peter 5:8)  The Good News is he may not, he CANNOT devour us when we have on Jesus.  He just has to move on to someone who does not.
When we clothe ourselves in Christ Jesus, (Romans 13:14) He becomes our Power Suit. We are able to do things that are right, and good.  We are able to stand against the enemy. Jesus is our full armor, (Ephesians 6: 13-18)  He is the armor of light, (Romans 13:12).  Whatever may come, we take our stand in Him. He has already defeated the evil one.  He fought for us, and prevailed over death, and destruction, and evil.  He is our righteousness. He is our peace. He is our joy. He is our super human strength, and mighty power.  We declare His victory – and it is ours to walk in- for we are One with Him. Let the truth prevail, my Friends.
May the Lord bless you, and keep you.  May He make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you. May He give you peace that passes all understanding through His grace and love.
