“Call to Me, and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.” (Jeremiah 33:3)

I go to The Bible each morning to begin my day. The Word is our assurance that all is well. No matter what is happening in the world, time spent there brings the message our Lord of Love has control of it all. How wonderful, how beautiful, to know that He is with us in every way as we begin our day. ?
We do not know what each day will bring, but He does, for He has already put things in place for us. And sometimes we don’t understand what comes with any given day. But He has told us: “Call to Me, and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.” It is our assurance that we can exist in peace, knowing that He is in charge of unfolding our futures. As He told those He came to after He was resurrected back to life, after dying for us, “Peace be with you.” He says that in John 20:19 and His Words are meant for each of us.
In fact, they are the first words He said to His disciples upon returning so, obviously, they are SIGNIFICANT. He wants us to exist in “PEACE” as we travel through this life, wants us to remember we can have that peace in every way, every moment if we choose. That isn’t always easy, of course, but we must remember, too, we are here for a reason. We are here for a purpose which He will reveal as we go – in its time. Timing is everything. Meanwhile, to live abundantly is to live in great faith and joy in Him each day. Read “in Him” as LIKE HIM.
Okay, how?
As the Word tells us in 1 Corinthians, “It is because of the Love of our Abba Father that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us Wisdom from God – [that Wisdom] is our Righteousness, Sanctification, Holiness, and Redemption.” All of that is ours as we go forth like Him. The way He did it. Which takes us back to starting the day in His Word and letting it guide us. He’s provided a literal blueprint through it for this journey of love we are called to. Don’t worry if you feel you don’t have all the answers. None of us do but they’re there. He promises to tell us all great and unsearchable things if we only ask. He promises to be with us in all things and in all ways. This He will do. He always does what He says He will.
One of our Sisters in Christ, a dear friend of mine, was given a challenging report this week on her health. She has breast cancer that has now spread to many parts of her body. I ask for prayer for her healing and peace in her spirit and for all who are in need of those things.
God is Good. Each of our lives are in His hands.
As He’s told us through His Word, there are things we do not always know until it is time that we do, but this one thing we always know: He loves us completely and forever as only He can. ?
Let us rejoice and be glad in that.
