Jesus said, “If you remain in Me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish and it will be done for you.” John 15:7

We continue to study the teaching Jesus did regarding how our relationship with him is like the Vine and the Branches. It is so beautiful and so informative. He said:

“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in Me and I in you, you will bear much fruit, apart from Me you can do nothing. If you do not remain in Me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers, such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. If you remain in Me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.” (John 15:5-8)

Such an amazing, and beautiful promise He made as He said, “If you remain in Me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish and it will be done for you.” He said, ‘This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.” When we are truly connected with our Christ, we become ONE BEING, with the power of the Almighty. A power that is above any power truly known to us in this life. It is ours to live in, and blossom our fruit with, and to have to represent God as we remain in Him.๐Ÿ’š

Jesus says, ‘The only way to live a truly good life is to stay close to Him, like a branch attached to the vine.’ Apart from Christ our efforts are truly unfruitful. We must ask ourselves, ‘Are we receiving the nourishment and life offered by Christ, the Vine?’  If not we must realize we are missing a very special gift He has for each of us who believe and stay with Him. The gift of being One with Him. As in any relationship it takes work. The hanging in.

But we have the ultimate partnership. Scripture says when a vine bears ‘much fruit,’ God is glorified. So, He’ll want us to “win” and just as He sends sunshine and rain needed to make crops grow and blossom, He’ll supply us with what we need. We can count on that blossoming and bearing ‘much fruit’ in our lives as we seek and follow Him moment by moment showing ourselves to be His Offspring.

Friends, I close every week with this but let us not look away from the horror and pain Ukraine continues to exist in. They need our prayers for victory. ๐Ÿ™
