May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight,..

Psalms 19:14 says, “May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer”.
A thought so powerful, that we should always include it in our prayers as we start a new day.
This tells us the Lord sees and hears everything we say, and everything that is in our heart.   We know that, but it is so easy to forget – as seen by the things we say.
This tells us He is our Rock, and our Redeemer.  We often forget that too, and do not live in the security of who He is, and what He has done for us.
What is it that pleases the Lord?  It is to remember why He came, and to live in the victory of it.
We hear people say sometimes, “Well it is just my luck that I did not get that promotion.  It is just my luck that I ran out of gas when I was in a hurry. It is just my luck to come down with a cold, and sound terrible when I need to make this presentation.  It is just my luck that a ——— fill in the blank.”    When we speak like that, we sound like we are expecting things to go wrong.  We are expecting to get sick.  We are expecting something to happen that will not be good.  When we do that, I would imagine the evil one is more than happy to oblige what we said – even thought it was just an idle thought.  And even if we do not say it, but think it in our heart, our actions will reveal what we think.  That is not living in the victory that Jesus has achieved.
Jesus said, “I came that you might have Life, and have it Abundantly.”  John 10:10   He came to give us a Rock to build upon that withstands all storms. Jesus is that Rock.  He came to Redeem us from the fall of the flesh and the evil that took us into captivity.  Jesus is that Redeemer.  He came to deliver us from sickness, and the results of sin. As Peter said, “He Himself bore our sins in His body on the tree, so that we might die to sins, and live for righteousness; by His wounds you have been healed.” 1 Peter 2:24  “Been healed.”
Been healed – it is finished.  Been redeemed – it is finished.  Been put upon solid ground – delivered from shifting sands – it is finished.  The battle has been won by our Lord.  Victory is in Christ Jesus.  Yet, He does not force us to take it.  He has provided it, He has paid the price for our redemption, and provided all things, but whether we walk with Him in it is our call.
Just as He created all things with the spoken word, He gives us the privilege to do the same.  We can say we have victory in all things, and stand on the truth of the Holy Scriptures in faith, and know it is ours to walk upon, or we can say things that make us sound like one who is waiting for life to deal out its next little ding.
Here is a mountain moving truth for us to stand on.  We are ‘Overcomers’.  We are not just someone stumbling in the dark. We are the light of the world.  We do not let the evil one take our joy, and have us guessing about what is going to happen next.  The Word says, “And they Overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony.” Rev 12:11  We overcome evil, and the pain it brings by the Blood of the Lamb, and the WORD OF OUR TESTIMONY.  This is why what we say is so important.  It is our testimony.
No doubt it pleases the Lord when we meditate upon, and speak the words of truth from our Rock and our Redeemer.  When the love of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit is delivered through those words. When our testimony is powerful, and life changing. When our testimony speaks words that bring peace, and love, and joy.  Let them bring encouragement to ourselves and those in our lives, God’s Beloveds.
Happy Thanksgiving to you, and yours, my Friends.  May your day be filled with love.
May you, and all those in your life, be blessed with health, prosperity, and well being, my Brothers and Sisters in Christ Jesus.
I love you.
