Ministry of the Holy Spirit

All of us realize God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are combined within our Lord of Love. This study of the Holy Spirit is simply to expand on Spirit’s often neglected role. There are just times when the great Holy Spirit is not included as He should be. Never to exclude our precious Father, or our Savior Christ Jesus, but simply to help fully recognize the Holy Spirit in our hearts and minds in such a way that we can fully understand it is by Spirit that God engages with us. In 1 Corinthians 12, Paul speaks to a few of the ways how…

Verse 3 says: “No one can say ‘Jesus is Lord’, except by the Holy Spirit.” The Holy Spirit rings the bells of truth in our own spirits. He ensures we know that Jesus is Lord by the “knowing” sensation that inexplicably generates inside us.

Verses 4-6 tells us: “There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but the same God works all of them in all men.” Clearly, a singular gift can be given to one person, or multiple gifts can be given to one person but it is all given through the same Source.

Then in Verses 7-11, the Apostle tells us: “Now to each one the manifestation (gifts) of the Spirit is given for the common good. To one there is given through the Spirit the message of wisdom, to another the message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, to another the message of faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues.  All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and He gives them to each one just as He determines.” Whether we are given one talent or many, these gifts given to humanity are Holy and to be used for the glory of our Lord – which translates to helping those that are brought, by design, into our life paths. That, friends, is the common good spoken of here.๐Ÿ™

Spirit has countless methods by which we can minister, soothe, influence, inspire, and entertain one another. It all benefits our common good while we share this place in time and helps propel the world forward. May God be with each of you as you discover your gifts and use them in His service.

And let us do what we can for all of those in need through prayer and any tangible assistance we can manage. I pray, as always, the Ukraine war comes to an end quickly, that every need in Hawaii, and throughout the world, be met in some way.๐Ÿ™

Blessings and Love to each of you.๐Ÿ’š
