The right attitude toward the Holy Spirit is to yield to His influence in Life. (Eph. 4-30)

Concluding this basic study of the wonderful Holy Spirit, we see there simply is no stopping in terms of how much there is to learn! This process has been great and will continue – but  included as part of studying the entire Word. This focus these past months has been to make sure we have the right attitude toward Spirit. To see how He influences our life.๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ

As we close, let’s look at two beautiful passages concerning “the walk of the believer as indwelt by the Holy Spirit” and “the inner life of the Spirit-filled Believer.” Both are from the Book of Ephesians. May they bring these truths to our hearts, souls, and spirits.

His Word says, “Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. And DO NOT GRIEVE THE HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ, God forgave you.” Eph. 4:29-32

Eph: 5:18-21 tells us: “Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead BE FILLED WITH THE SPIRIT. Speak to one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord; always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jeus Christ. Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ.”

I believe wine and those delicious craft beers are good for the body and soul as we relax from our days or enjoy time with family and friends. The danger lies in consumption which leads to “debauchery.” There is no doubt the Lord wants us to enjoy life, but losing ourselves to potential rage, anger, loose tongues, escape, violence, choices we wouldn’t make in our “right minds,” on liquor or drugs, is not what He wants for us. Keeping our wits about us allows space for the Holy Spirit to lead and inspire us. WE LET NOTHING ELSE CONTROL US. Which is what is asked so that we can always act from love as our actions ripple into the world. This He wants to do, this He will do, as we give ourselves to Him fully and enjoy our time here together – serving Life with those who love Him and love each other.๐Ÿ’š What an extraordinary movement to be a part of! This is how our species evolves.

Let us continue praying for those in wars – For Ukraine, all innocent Israelis and Palestinians, and all struggling in our world. Let us ask the Lord to help them and be channels of that help ourselves. Blessings and Love to you all.๐Ÿ™
