Hello Beloveds of our God of Love.
As we know, and see in the Word, “God is Love.” As we know and see in the Word, “For God so loved the world, He gave His one and only Son that whoever Believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him. John 3:16 – 17.
Our God of Love, sent His Son to save us – His Beloveds. I believe Jesus came into the world in many ways, and in many forms, and for many reasons. We, who follow Him as Jesus, know and live in this Truth about Him, with Him. But there have been, and I believe will be to come, many different ways we shall see Him, hear Him, and be with Him as we go forth.
As we look at some of the many ways our God of Love has shown Himself to us, we know how very BIG He is. He said, “I AM THAT I AM.” Let us look at some of the defining names He has given us that reveal this Truth.
One of the most beautiful names we know is the name, JEHOVAH. It is God’s formal name. Jesus’ formal name was Yeshua in Hebrew, which translates in English to Joshua. So as we speak His name, be it Jehovah, or Jesus (which means Jehovah saves) in conversation, or request, we are on and in a first name friend to friend loving relationship. We can expect that kind of relationship regardless of the name we use to address Him. Every name always comes back to ‘Our God is Love. Love, true Love’. It is the Peace all of us need, and want, and will have in Him.
JEHOVAH, GOD WHO IS WHO HE IS, though not a name most of us use frequently, should be a part of our language. He has given it to us to use in ways at certain times to be specific.
Some of those ways are JEHOVAH ELOHIM – HE is the Lord. JEHOVAH JIREH, HE is my Provider. JEHOVAH RAPHA, HE is my Healer. JEHOVAH NISSI, HE is my Banner. JEHOVAH SHALOM, HE is my Peace. JEHOVAH SHAMMAH, the LORD is there – always. JEHOVAH EL SHADDAI, He is The LORD ALMIGHTY. JEHOVAH EL ELYON, HE is the MOST HIGH. Nothing missing, Nothing broken, All is Well.
When we know the One who is the MOST HIGH, the LORD ALMIGHTY, who is always there to heal, provide, and to keep us in peace as we call upon Him, we will live in Victory. May we make it so without question as we travel on each day regardless of how it looks, or seems. Victory is ours. For He IS. We Are in Him. We are in His Love. How very blessed we, and all of those who know Him are.
There are many more names our Lord of Love has been addressed by as the time and event called for. These are a few that we can learn and walk in faith in. He always wants only the Best for us.
