“God is Love! Whoever lives in Love, lives in God, and God in them.” 1 John 4:16

Hello my Brothers and Sisters, ?

These words appear in the Gospel of John: “After seeing the Miracles of God that Christ Jesus performed, they asked Christ, “What must we do to do the ‘works’ God requires?”
Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the One He has sent.” (John 6:28-29)
We so often forget how simple the work of God is for us. Notice Christ was asked about the ‘works’ God requires. His reply was to get away from all of the ‘works’, and realize there is only ‘ONE THING’ that our Father God asks of us to be in His will. That ‘ONE THING’ is to BELIEVE in the ‘ONE’ He has sent. How wonderful, how beautiful that simple action is for us.
When we believe that Christ Jesus has come and FINISHED ‘THE WORK’, and believe in Him as our Messiah and King, that is all we have to do to receive His power and blessings. Then we have ‘FINISHED’ our work of doing what Father God requires. What comes after that is simply realizing that God totally and completely Loves us without further need.
The importance of this directive is that we believe God came in the form of his son, a man. A man who embodied God himself. A man who told us that if we had seen him, then we had seen the Father. Right there so much mystery is solved. Because it’s there that we learn exactly who God is. When we know that, we begin to understand how to emulate Him.
As the Apostle John said, “God is Love! Whoever lives in Love, lives in God, and God in them.” (1 John 4:16)
“We love because He first loved us. Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is not being truthful. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen. And He has given us this command: Anyone who loves God must also love their brother and sister.” (1 John 4:19 -21)
So, let us, too, live in Love. When we do, we Love our God and we love our brothers and sisters.  There can be no separation of the two.
You are so greatly Loved. Let us pass that Love on as we live in this life. What an amazing journey it creates for us and those we touch to live in.?
