“Do not worry” Matt 6:25

When facing issues of uncertainty, smile as you remember this is part of the journey.  The Lord allows things to happen for reasons that we sometimes see quickly, sometimes slowly, and sometimes we will just have to wait until we get home where He will explain what He was doing..  But as we go through it, (and we Will get to the other side of it a better person when we allow Him to work for us)  here is the promise in the Word that gives us a solid rock on which to stand as we do:  “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.” (Romans 8:28)   When we give our life to the Lord, and love Him and trust Him, we can relax and live in expectation that good will come from Whatever is going on. We may not like it at the moment, or understand it at the time, but if we will trust that He will give it purpose even when it is not originally from Him, and that  He will work it for our good, we will keep moving on knowing that all is well.  This is where we learn to ‘walk by faith, and not by sight’ (2 Corinthians 5:7) This is the Lord showing us when we walk by faith, great things await.  They will materialize in ways that are perhaps different than what we had envisioned, but they will be for the good of all that is in the equation.
As we read and sum up the words of The Lord in Matthew 6: 25-34, He said, “Do not worry. Your heavenly Father knows you have needs, and exactly what those needs are.  So do not worry, but seek first His kingdom and His righteousness and All things you have need of will be given to you as well.”    When we start our day as King David did: “In the morning, O Lord, You hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before You and wait in expectation”, (Psalm 5:3), when we start our day seeking the Lord, He meets us and reminds us of our position in the kingdom with Him, and gives us His peace, and meets our every worldly need as well.  We can expect it.
Worry and fear are robbers and thieves.   They suck the life right out of the day through capturing our mind and telling us how bad things ‘can’ be.  But let us listen to the words of the Lord instead.  The Lord said, “He came that we might have life and have it abundantly”. (John 10:10)  He said,”Do not worry. It is of no value to you. You gain nothing from it. You cannot change anything by it”  (The Lord did not say this, but It is a proven scientific fact worry and fear and anxiety can make you sick)  The Lord said, “Take this life one day at a time and live each day abundantly in Him.” He gives us abundant life, worry makes us sick, and we get to choose who we will believe.  He gives us the power to make the right choice.  For He has given us a spirit of power, and love, and sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7.
“For this is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.”  Let us walk in expectation of wonderful things coming to meet us – let us stay on the path of faith and receive them.
The Lord’s Blessings and Love upon you, and yours, God’s Beloveds.
