For Dominion belongs to the Lord. Psalm 22:28

Psalm 22 details the crucifixion of Christ Jesus.  This prophecy was given to King David long before it came to pass.  It tells of what would happen in the appointed time.

We sometimes question God’s timing.  We may allow our spirit to be crushed by circumstances, and forget that He is in control.  Nevertheless, He is in control.  “For dominion belongs to the Lord”.
Verses 16 – 18 of the psalm says:  “Dogs have surrounded me; a band of evil men has encircled me, they have pierced my hands and my feet.  I can count all my bones; people stare and gloat over me.  They divide my garments among them and cast lots for my clothing.”
Verses 7-8 says: “All who see me mock me; they hurl insults shaking their heads: ‘He trusts in the Lord; let the Lord rescue Him.  Let Him deliver Him since He delights in Him.'”
Verse 1 says: “My God, my God, why have You forsaken me?  Why are You so far from saving me, so far from the words of my groaning.?”
From reading the Gospels, we know these very things happened at the appointed time.
Those were dark hours for our Lord Jesus.  He was a man like you and me, so fear and doubt hit Him.  But He stayed the course even though He could have called 10,00 angels to come and stop the process.  He stayed the course even though things were happening He did not understand.  He stayed the course and when He passed through it, He said, “It is finished.” (John 19:30), and He moved on to victory.
Verses 3-5 of the psalm says: “Yet You are enthroned as the Holy One; You are the praise of Israel.  In You our fathers put their trust; they trusted and You delivered them.  They cried to You and were saved; in You they trusted and were not disappointed.”
After the fall of man, the plan of Salvation was decreed.  At the appointed time, it came to be.  Jesus came down from Heaven, and went through the process to bring grace, mercy, and favor to us.  He paid it all for each of us.  All we have to do to receive it is to believe it.
There is a plan for each of us. We are here now because it is the appointed time for us. The Word says: “From one man He made every nation of men, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and He determined the times set for them and exact places where they should live.”
Acts 17:26  We are exactly where we were determined to be – when we were determined to be – who we were determined to be, and how we were determined to be.  He gave us free will and allowed us to choose the way we would use all of this, and said, “I love You. I am with you.  Live life Abundantly.”
Let us trust the plan, and the process.  Let us trust the fact that “Dominion belongs to the Lord.”  His actions prove that He loves us.  He is with us.  He is for us. He has given us unmerited favor, and will always bring us victory; regardless of how things may look if we are going through something we do not understand.  Trust the Word that tells us we have dominion with Him.  We are One with Him.  Trust the process. Let us keep our eyes on Jesus, and His finished work on the cross.  He now sits enthroned at the right hand of our Father. All things have been put under Him.  He has given us the Holy Spirit to empower, strengthen, and show us the Way to walk with Him.  Great things are ahead.
The Word says, “The Lord God summons us by name.  He is our Redeemer – we are His.”  Isaiah 43:1-5  We are His.  He is ours. We are One.
Blessings and Love to you, and yours, God’s Beloveds.
