THANKSGIVING.

Hello Abundant Life Family. I trust that everyone had a great Thanksgiving Day with Friends and Family, and that a Feast of some sort took place. Most likely, there was much left over after you had your fill.

But that is the way the Lord throws a feast. An example of this is when He took the 2 small fish, and 5 small loaves of bread, gave thanks for them and proceeded to feed 5,000 men, plus the women and children who were there. When they had filled themselves He told His disciples to pick up the left overs. He did not want to waste anything. (Neither should we) They filled 12 baskets with the left overs. (John 6: 10-13)

Jesus is the God of Abundance. He said, “I have come that you might have life, and have it to the full.” (John 10:10.) He does not withhold from those who love and believe in Him.

We know there are many in the world who do not have enough to eat. We must never ignore that. We should do what we can, and give what we can to help them. However, when we have been given food, let us give thanks for it, and enjoy it to the full. That is why we should always give thanks before each time we eat. We acknowledge we are blessed to have it. We give thanks for it. We eat and enjoy it. Nehemiah 8:10 says unto us, “Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared.”

The Lord tells us through His Apostle Paul how our walk in this world can be enjoyed to the full. He said, “Rejoice always. (Have an attitude of joy because of His presence), Pray continually, (Talk to Him, and Fellowship with Him throughout the day about the things you see, or the people you come into contact with that need Him.) Give thanks in all circumstances; (Whatever the circumstance, you know it will lead to good. (Romans 8:28) So GIVE THANKS regardless of what it may appear to be.) He goes on to say, “These things are God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” (1 Thessalonians 5: 16, 17, 18)

Let us live each day in an attitude of THANKSGIVING. This is God’s will for us in Christ Jesus. He knows it will keep our hearts full of Love. Love that we can easily share.?
