Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. Romans 8:1

When we believe in, and accept Christ Jesus as Savior into our soul, we are born again by the Holy Spirit with a spirit of sonship. We are then children of God – a new creation. (2 Corinthians 5:17)  We have the Power of God Almighty within us.  (2 Timothy 1:7)  (Ephesians 3:16) as the Holy Spirit makes our body His temple. ( 1 Corinthians 3:16).

However, the process of realizing who we are, and the power we have, takes some time. We are perfect in our spirit through the shed blood of Christ, and this is how our Heavenly Father sees us, but we are  “being made holy”, Hebrews 10:14.
“Being made holy” is the work of the Holy Spirit in us, and for us, and He does this in His grace and mercy.  As I think of the multitude of times I have acted as a child of the flesh instead of a child of God, I am saddened. I had given my heart to Jesus, but my soul was so full of ‘self’, the Holy Spirit could only have a part of me.  It was not something I intentionally wanted to do, but as Paul talked about in Romans, chapter 7, I blindly did it.   One would not think that with all that is within us – His presence, His power, His love, and all that He Is, that we could go on doing things that are not right for us, or bring great pain to others, but we often do. I give testimony to that.
The Good news is He patiently continues to work with us, not condemning us, but waiting for us to move self out, confess the wrongness, and let Him have that part that was not open to Him.  When that happens, when we finally listen and ‘hear Him’, He heals us in that area, (by His wounds we are healed – Isaiah 53: 4-6)  and fantastic victory is ours.  The Lord brings a peace in to that area that takes us to a new level in our relationship with Him.  I give testimony to that as well.
You are so greatly loved, God’s Beloveds.  He will never leave you, or forsake you.  He does not condemn, He works all things together for your good.  Receive His blessing, my Brothers and Sisters in Christ.
