“All of the promises of God are Yes, in Christ Jesus.” 2 Corinthians 1:20

Hello God’s Beloveds,

God never made a promise He did not keep, or will keep when it is time, if not done yet.   He has placed a limitation upon Himself that allows nothing else.  The Word says, :”It is impossible for God to lie.”       Hebrews 6:18

When Adam fell into the sin of disbelief, Father said to the evil one who had taken the form of a serpent,  “I will put enmity between you and the woman and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head. (Genesis 3:15).  Father did not say to Adam and Eve,  “You are going to have to find a way to take back everything you lost with that decision.” He said, “I will”.  So He sent a Savior to do it. That Savior is Jesus Christ. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16 He made a promise.  He kept it.
God promised Abraham a land that he did not clear, cities he did not build, wells he did not dig, vineyards he did not plant, a land flowing with milk and honey, and that land is Israel. He was with them as they took possession of what was promised to them after 40 or so years of wandering around in the desert because of unbelief.  It was there waiting for them. He made a promise.  He kept it.
Jesus promised the presence of the Holy Spirit of power and love for all who would believe after He returned home. John 16.   The Holy Spirit came to all believers to establish the kingdom in every believer and to be with us forever.  Acts 2: 4-12  He made a promise.  He kept it.
The Word is filled with the promises of God from Genesis to Revelation both in promises of the Spirit, and promises of the flesh. Promises of things and ways that tell us of God’s love for us.and How He has shown it, and how He shows it every day. Promises of His protection.  Of His peace.  Of His provision.  Of the Power of the blood of Jesus to defeat the enemy.  Of the victory that is ours in Him.  Of His wisdom available to us for the asking to make sound decisions. The list goes on and on – and ALL OF THE PROMISES ARE YES IN CHRIST JESUS, and so through Him the Amen is spoken by us to the glory of God the Father.” 2 Corinthians 1:20
May we go to the Word and seek out His promises.  He said, “Ask, and it shall be given.  Seek and you shall find.  Knock and the door shall be opened.”
Let us be as Abraham who believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness. Galatians 3:6.  He was blessed, and was a blessing to all nations who would believe.  The Word says “So those who have faith are blessed along with Abraham the man of faith.” Galatians 3:9. Let us put our faith in the promises of God.  They are Yes in Christ Jesus. They ARE Christ Jesus.
In His love,
Poppa B.
