“Be strong in the Lord, and in His mighty power.” Ephesians 6:10

Sometimes things happen that are not what we want, and are not of our own decisions, and are unexpected.  They may be from the decisions of others, but we are connected and impacted. Or the timing of something that we expected, did not happen when we expected it to, and we are disappointed , and perhaps confused about it.  Or Health issues. Or of course many other things that could happen.

The most important thing for us to remember is to look to the Lord, go to Him with it, and talk to Him about it.   His promise is that He will work it for our good. (Romans 8:28)  We may not see how that could ever be, but His Word is Truth, and that is the truth and we can absolutely trust His Word as we wait upon Him to bring it to pass.  Sometimes that is immediate.  Sometimes it is a time in coming.  The timing is always in the hands of the Lord.  He is working with others, and issues that need to be resolved that we are probably not aware of.  Our job is to trust the process, and trust His timing, and trust His Word, and to keep on keeping on as we walk in His strength and power.
If we look at the issue, we look at the wrong thing.  If we look to the Lord, and draw from Him, we shall realize He is IN us, and that His power and strength shall flow mightily in and through US as we open all gates to Him. (Ephesians 6:10)  We are then energized, and realize that “our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.”  (Ephesians 6:12)  We realize we must call upon the Lord to fight for us, which He does.
This promise must be ours to live in, and be ever strong in:  “This is what the Lord says to you:  ‘Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army.  For the battle is not yours, but God’s.'”                        (2 Chronicles 20:15)
So let us just put on the full armor of God each day, (Ephesians 6:13-18), and show up to do whatever the day calls for us to do. Let us walk in His strength , and mighty power, and peace, and leave the fighting to Him.  Our victory is in Jesus, our Lord.  He has already proven He is the Champ.
Have a wonderful day.  May you be blessed in every way, God’s Beloveds.    You are greatly loved.
