God sent His Son into the world to save the world through Him. John 3:17

As we continue our study of the Gospel of John, we pick up at verse 17 of Chapter 3.  Under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, the Apostle writes:

“For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.  Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.”  John 3: 17-18
As we read the preceding verse, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life”, we know that God loves us.
The Word says, ” God is Love.” (1 John 4:8), and  “This is how God showed His love among us: He sent His one and only Son into the world that we might live through Him.  This is love; not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. (1 John 4:9-10)
We may not understand the reasons why there is good, and evil, and love, and hate, and what brought condemnation into the world, but this we can understand: God is Love, and He loves us.  We do not earn His love, we simply cannot.  No matter how “religious” we may try to be, we cannot get there on our own.  Father knows that, sees that, and understands that.  So He sent His Son to save us from sin and death.  This is Love, this is Grace.  The Word says, “God demonstrated His love for us in this:  While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8)
Our Heavenly Father is Love.  Jesus is Love.  The Holy Spirit is Love.  Let us walk in His presence, allowing ourselves to be the bridge, and a channel to His children that do not believe in His love.  May we show them the Grace that is theirs simply because God loves them. For they are in the world, and God sent His Son into the world to save us all.  All that is necessary for us to do is to believe in Him.
Have a wonderful day, in every way as you walk in your blessings in Christ Jesus, my Friends.   You are greatly Loved.  Let His love flow through you, God’s Beloveds.
