“Grace and Peace to you from God our Father” Colossians 1:2

Angels announced the birth of Jesus, the Messiah, with these words:  “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth Peace to men on whom His favor rests.” (Luke 1: 14)

On the night before He was crucified for us, –  He gave His last message to His Apostles with these words:  “Peace I leave with you; my Peace I give you.  I do not give to you as the world gives.  Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” (John 14:27)
Jesus called and raised up, and personally taught the Apostle Paul, a person that was so filled with hate for Him that he was hunting down, and throwing believers in Him into prison and approving of their deaths.  He chose Him to bring forth the Good News.  Here it is:  Christ came to bring Peace.  To set us free from sin and death.  He died for us.  He was raised from the dead by the power of Love.  He lives.  His work was completed.  He now wants us to live in Peace in Him, and with Him, because of His Grace and love for us.  He paid for it.  He wants it.
The Holy Spirit gave Paul these words to the Church:  “We have not stopped praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of His will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding.” (Colossians 1:9),  Paul goes on to say, “For God was pleased to have all His fullness dwell in Him, and through Him to reconcile to Himself things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through His blood shed on the cross.”( Colossians 1:19,20)
God’s will is for us to live in Peace.  Father said it.  Christ said it.  His great New Testament Prophet Paul said it.  The Word says it over and over from the Old Testament Prophets, and Psalms and Proverbs again and again.  God wants us to stop letting the enemy bring anxiety and fear and worry into out being.  He wants us to live in Peace. Jesus gave His life for us to have it.
He wants us to receive the knowledge of His will.  To let spiritual wisdom and understanding flow in our being because we believe in the the finished work of Christ on the cross .  For us to realize we can live above the troubles of the world as we live in His kingdom here on earth.  For us to walk in the Light of Jesus, and to be able to see there is nothing lurking in the dark that might hurt us because He is with us.  To realize He is the truth, the way, and the life.  He is our Peace.  He is our grace.  Our absolute faith in Christ as the fullness of God’s grace and love that has been reconciled and given to us unconditionally with all accounts paid in full is what causes us to be at peace with God and each other as we receive it into our being.
Grace and Peace to you from our God in three persons, precious Children of God.  You are greatly loved, and highly favored.  Walk in His blessings of Peace on earth.  Let it flow through you as you bless others with it.  What a wonderful gift to us.  What a wonderful gift to share with others.  It is a life changer.
