Writing under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, and from the personal teaching of Jesus Christ, the Apostle John penned these words.
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”(John 1:1) “The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us. We have seen His glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.” (John 1:14) Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” (John 8:31-32) Jesus said, “I and the Father are One.” (John 10:30) Jesus said, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father but by Me.” (John 14:6)
Here is truth: Jesus is the Word personified. He was with God in the beginning, He Is God. He is One with God. He is the Word of God – the Word that spoke all things into existence – The Word that God says will not return unto Him without accomplishing what He sent it for. The Word who became a body of flesh to live in the world facing the same temptations, and needs as any man, as every person. A body of Flesh that would bleed and die just as our body of flesh does. A body of Flesh that could be wounded for our sins and transgressions, and weakness, and damaging habits, and provide healing, eternal and abundant life for us in return. A body of flesh, that was given life by the Holy Spirit, and who flowed and lived in the blood of that body. Jesus is the Son of Man. He is the Son of God. Total and complete man. Total and complete God.
God understands our every need, and became a body of flesh and blood to meet every one of them. He came to walk with us, to be our Friend, to be our Savior, and to die for us nailed to a cross, and to overcome death through His resurrection that defeated death, and then He ascended to heaven to rule from the throne of Grace. He came full of grace, and truth, and this is how He rules – in truth and Grace.
Jesus is the Word. Jesus is truth. He is God. He is Love. Let us listen to Him through all those He taught as He was here, before He came, and after He went back to Heaven. Let us listen to Him through those He uses today to bring His message. That Message is this: He, God the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit, loves you and wants you to be with Him now and forever. He wants you to believe Him, accept Him, be at peace knowing that He is with you, protecting you, and providing for your every need. All because of His grace. Nothing earned, just free gifts because of His love.
He has done the work. All we have to do is believe it, and receive it, and walk in it. He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. We go to the Father through Him because He and the Father are One. When we ask Jesus into our lives, He gives us a Spirit of power, and love and a sound mind. Let us say yes to truth. As we go to Jesus we will KNOW the truth. We shall experience His Grace. Let us be at peace because it is ours.
You are greatly loved. You are greatly blessed. You are highly favored in Christ Jesus. This is truth. This is Grace.
